In China, solid-phase sodium silicate production mainly uses heat storage type full-gas horseshoe flame tank furnaces. In 2020, the successful commissioning of China’s first 80m² oxy-fuel kiln by a Shandong-based company, producing 200 tons per day of sodium silicate marks a shift toward a new model where natural gas is utilized as fuel and oxygen-enriched combustion is incorporated.

In the engineering industry, equipment integration has increasingly become a standard requirement for newly constructed installations. Modular skid-mounted assembly is one of the various methods to achieve such integration. Skid mounting refers to fixing a set of VPSA （Vacuum Pressure Swing Adsorption）and PSA （Pressure Swing Adsorption）oxygen equipment onto a base made of angle iron or I-beams. The entire oxygen unit can be moved using a lifting device or crane. Skid-mounted oxygen equipment is widely used in industrial fields.

On October 15, 2024, the 136th Canton Fair opened grandly in Guangzhou. As a first-time exhibitor, PKU Pioneer showcased its vacuum pressure swing adsorption (VPSA) and pressure swing adsorption (PSA) gas separation technology from China's general machinery sector to international buyers from around the world, gaining widespread attention.

On August 5, 2024, the 2024 Fortune Global 500 list was released. According to it, a total of 11 enterprises from China's steel industry made it onto the list. The top 3 ranked steel companies are China Baowu Steel Group Corporation Limited, HBIS Group Co., Ltd., and Tsingshan Holding Group, ranked 44th, 249th, and 265th respectively in the Fortune Global 500.

PKU Pioneer will participate in the 136th Canton Fair held in Guangzhou, China from October 15th to 19th, 2024 (Phase 1), at the General Machinery Exhibition Area, Booth No. 20.2 L24 (Hall 20.2, Booth L24).

From August 14 to 17, 2024, the Chinese Society for Metals (CSM) held the 2024 National Metallurgical Energy and Environmental Protection Production Tech Conference and High-End Forum on Green Low-Carbon Metallurgy in Baotou. Focusing on “Scientific Pollution Reduction, Energy Saving, Carbon Reduction, and Efficient Synergy for Green Development”, the conference emphasized the exchange and discussion of technologies, processes, and equipment related to green low-carbon development, cost reduction, oxygen-enriched combustion, desulfurization, carbon capture and utilization, pollution reduction, and environmental protection cost reduction. PKU Pioneer closely follows the green development of the steel industry, and presented a technical report titled “Industrial Exploration of Low-Cost Blast Furnace Oxygen Enrichment, Steel-Mill Gas Purification and High-Value Utilization” at the conference as a high-quality supplier of gas separation technology in the steel industry.
