Introduction to Major Global Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) Oxygen Generation Manufacturers
As of 2025, PKU Pioneer has designed and constructed more than 400 sets of large and medium-sized pressure swing adsorption oxygen generation units, with performance indicators reaching the international advanced level. It has provided long-term and low-cost oxygen supply solutions for basic industrial fields such as iron and steel, chemical industry, non-ferrous metallurgy, glass and glass fiber, new energy, solid waste treatment, papermaking, waste incineration, and water treatment.

In June 2025, the energy efficiency improvement and renovation project of Yueyufeng Steel's 30,000 Nm³/h (7,500×4 Nm³/h) PSA oxygen generation unit, undertaken by Beijing Peking University Pioneer Technology Corporation Ltd. was successfully completed.

the second-phase 14,000 Nm³/h pressure swing adsorption (PSA) oxygen generation facility, constructed by Beijing Peking University Pioneer Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "PKU Pioneer") for Chifeng Yuanlian Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Chifeng Yuanlian"), has successfully commissioned and achieved stable oxygen supply.

PKU Pioneer's Precision Retrofit Revitalizes Syngas Project, Enabling Efficient Resumption of Butanol-Octanol Production
Project Background & Drivers: A chemical enterprise in Shandong faced long-term issues with its 100,000-ton/year butanol-octanol production line’s supporting PSA-CO unit. Problems included failure to meet designed capacity, high CO gas impurity levels, and unstable downstream synthesis, despite previous adsorbent replacement attempts. To address these bottlenecks, the enterprise launched a technical retrofit in August 2025 and selected PKU Pioneer for its proven expertise in complex CO separation scenarios.

On July 24, 2025, the China General Machinery Industry Association organized a product appraisal meeting in Beijing for the “Third-Generation PU-8 Lithium-Based Molecular Sieve Low-Energy Four-Tower Radial-Bed Pressure Swing Adsorption Oxygen Generation Equipment” developed by Beijing Peking University Pioneer Technology Corporation Ltd.The appraisal committee unanimously agreed that the performance indicators of the “Third-Generation PU-8 Lithium-Based Molecular Sieve Low-Energy Four-Tower Radial-Bed Pressure Swing Adsorption Oxygen Generation Equipment” developed by Beijing Peking University Pioneer Technology Co., Ltd. have reached the internationally advanced level and recommended its widespread adoption.
