What Has PKU Pioneer Achieved in VPSA and PSA Oxygen Generation Technology?

PKU Pioneer has devoted itself to VPSA (Vacuum Pressure Swing Adsorption) and PSA (Pressure Swing Adsorption) technologies for nearly 25 years. With multiple innovations and iterations, our VPSA and PSA oxygen generation technology has been developed into the world's top level, making us the world champion in this industry. The highest oxygen production capacity of PKU Pioneer's oxygen equipment applied in a single mill has reached 100,000Nm3/h, a breakthrough in the application of super-large VPSA oxygen units. PKU Pioneer is constantly expanding the forefront of the application of oxygen generation technology. The oxygen generation systems have been successfully applied in lithium batteries and refractory material fields to help customers to improve their economic benefits effectively. The main achievements made by PKU Pioneer in VPSA oxygen generation technology are as follows:



In 2001, first VPSA-O2 plant for blast furnace oxygen enhancement.



In 2003, first VPSA-O2 plant for EAF steelmaking.



In 2008, a breakthrough capacity at 12,500Nm3/h of VPSA-O2 plant for blast furnace iron smelting.



In 2013, success in radial adsorber technology enabled the construction of large-scale VPSA-O2 plant in the iron and steel industries.



In 2015, the newly developed compact and single-adsorber VPSA SPOX oxygen generator successfully commissioned and modeled for production.



In 2016, earliest application of radial adsorber process in blast furnace ironmaking opened the door to an era of VPSA-O2 plants application on large and colossal scales by steel enterprises.



In 2021, the 54,000Nm3/h VPSA-O2 plant for international steel enterprises and the largest VPSA-O2 plant (87,500Nm3/h) domestically.



In 2022, the aggregate capacity of VPSA-O2 plant on track to exceed 2 million Nm3 /h, 50% of which serves iron and steel enterprises.
