Four clients of leading gas technology firm PKU Pioneer have been selected as China's 2025 Key Industry Energy Efficiency "Leaders." This national recognition, awarded by three key ministries, highlights the clients' exceptional energy performance. PKU Pioneer’s efficient gas separation and purification solutions played a key role in supporting their green transformation and achieving this prestigious benchmark status.

As a core technology provider at the Peking University-Ordos achievement matchmaking conference, PKU Pioneer showcased its leading gas separation solutions to major local enterprises. The company highlighted two award-winning technologies: its高效CO separation system with proprietary PU-1 adsorbent, proven in over 50 installations, and a flexible PSA hydrogen production solution. This engagement demonstrates PKU Pioneer’s successful model of translating pioneering university research into practical, large-scale industrial applications that meet regional needs for resource efficiency and green development.

Based on the nature of interactions between adsorbates and adsorbents, adsorption can be classified into chemical adsorption and physical adsorption.

As of 2025, PKU Pioneer has designed and constructed more than 400 sets of large and medium-sized pressure swing adsorption oxygen generation units, with performance indicators reaching the international advanced level. It has provided long-term and low-cost oxygen supply solutions for basic industrial fields such as iron and steel, chemical industry, non-ferrous metallurgy, glass and glass fiber, new energy, solid waste treatment, papermaking, waste incineration, and water treatment.

In June 2025, the energy efficiency improvement and renovation project of Yueyufeng Steel's 30,000 Nm³/h (7,500×4 Nm³/h) PSA oxygen generation unit, undertaken by Beijing Peking University Pioneer Technology Corporation Ltd. was successfully completed.

the second-phase 14,000 Nm³/h pressure swing adsorption (PSA) oxygen generation facility, constructed by Beijing Peking University Pioneer Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "PKU Pioneer") for Chifeng Yuanlian Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Chifeng Yuanlian"), has successfully commissioned and achieved stable oxygen supply.
