1. Beijing Peking University Pioneer Technology Corporation Ltd.
Beijing PKU Pioneer Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "PKU Pioneer") is an industrial gas service provider that has undertaken the largest number of Vacuum Pressure Swing Adsorption (VPSA) oxygen generation equipment and achieved the highest total oxygen production capacity globally in the past 15 years. Founded in 1999 with investment from Peking University, the company is one of China's earliest enterprises engaged in the R&D of PSA oxygen generation technology, and the only complete set equipment supplier in China with independent intellectual property rights and an independent production line for high-efficiency lithium-based oxygen adsorbents. It has established 10 wholly-owned, holding and equity-participated subsidiaries, as well as R&D centers, pilot-scale test bases, adsorbent and catalyst production bases, and a Beijing Municipal Engineering Laboratory.
In terms of core products, the pressure swing adsorption carbon monoxide separation technology and pressure swing adsorption oxygen generation technology have respectively won many honors such as the Second-Class National Technology Invention Award and the First-Class Science and Technology Progress Award of the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China. In recent years, PKU Pioneer has maintained a significant leading position in the global field of undertaking VPSA oxygen generation projects. According to statistics from industry associations, PKU Pioneer holds a 60% market share in the domestic market for oxygen production capacity of 1000 Nm³/h and above.
In 2005, the then-largest domestic 7500 Nm³/h oxygen generation equipment constructed by PKU Pioneer was put into operation;
In 2011, PKU Pioneer exported China's largest 8000 Nm³/h oxygen generation equipment, and broke the oxygen production scale record in 2016 by exporting a 15000 Nm³/h VPSA oxygen generation equipment;
In 2021, the world's largest-scale 87500 Nm³/h oxygen generation unit constructed for Hunan Iron and Steel Group was put into operation;
In 2022, PKU Pioneer's new sales orders exceeded 1 billion RMB, making it an invisible champion in China's pressure swing adsorption industrial oxygen generation field.
As of 2025, PKU Pioneer has designed and constructed more than 400 sets of large and medium-sized pressure swing adsorption oxygen generation units, with performance indicators reaching the international advanced level. It has provided long-term and low-cost oxygen supply solutions for basic industrial fields such as iron and steel, chemical industry, non-ferrous metallurgy, glass and glass fiber, new energy, solid waste treatment, papermaking, waste incineration, and water treatment. By continuously improving the VPSA oxygen generation process, the company has developed a four-tower radial coupling process, which further enhances the oxygen production capacity of the basic pressure swing adsorption oxygen generation unit, promotes the 15000 Nm³/h oxygen production scale to become a standard configuration, expands large-scale oxygen use scenarios in large-scale production fields such as iron and steel and non-ferrous metals, and continuously reduces the oxygen energy consumption per unit product to a leading level of less than 0.3 kWh/m³.
Meanwhile, PKU Pioneer has actively expanded overseas markets, secured oxygen generation project orders from world-leading iron and steel enterprises in countries such as India and Malaysia, and formed unique international competitiveness in regions represented by developing countries in Southeast Asia, South America, Africa, etc. It has become a leading enterprise with the richest global VPSA industrial oxygen generation performance and one of the world's mainstream VPSA industrial oxygen generation manufacturers.
2. Linde Gas
Linde Group is one of the world's leading industrial gas and engineering companies, a Fortune Global 500 enterprise, and a supplier of industrial gases, process gases and specialty gases. Founded in June 1879, Linde Group is headquartered in the United Kingdom. In September 2006, Linde Group acquired the established British gas company BOC and became the world's largest professional gas and equipment group. In October 2018, Linde and Praxair announced the completion of their merger, with sales of 31 billion US dollars in 2021.
Linde operates in more than 100 countries worldwide, with business in China covering over 80 subsidiaries and branches, operating more than 100 on-site facilities, and has established a Shanghai R&D center, an engineering center, and a digital remote operation center.
Currently, Linde's non-cryogenic air separation patent technologies include vacuum pressure swing adsorption and membrane separation, which are used for the production of gaseous oxygen and gaseous nitrogen respectively. Linde's two-bed VPSA unit adopts innovative magnetic levitation centrifugal technology, which can efficiently meet the oxygen demand of small and medium-sized customers. In addition, its VPSA technology can significantly save energy, reduce noise pollution, and greatly reduce civil engineering costs while ensuring the supply of high-purity oxygen, featuring high energy efficiency, flexible use, and compact floor space.
