As of May 4, a total of 246,000 overseas buyers from 215 countries and regions attended the event, marking a 24.5% increase compared to the last session, setting a new record. Among them, 160,000 buyers came from countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative, an increase of 25.1%; 61,000 buyers were from RCEP member countries, up by 25.5%; 52,000 buyers were from BRICS countries, showing a growth of 27.6%; and 50,000 buyers were from Europe and the United States, an increase of 10.7%. Overseas buyers gave high praise to the Canton Fair, stating that China has the best supply chain, and the Canton Fair is the ideal platform for one-stop procurement.
The Canton Fair imposes strict qualification requirements for exhibitors. To be eligible, exhibitors must demonstrate strong foreign trade capabilities, comprehensive corporate strength, and leadership within their industry. In addition to possessing valid foreign trade licenses, exhibitors are expected to have robust export performance, a good business reputation, and offer innovative products with strong market competitiveness, etc.
