On August 5, 2024, the 2024 Fortune Global 500 list was released. According to it, a total of 11 enterprises from China's steel industry made it onto the list. The top 3 ranked steel companies are China Baowu Steel Group Corporation Limited, HBIS Group Co., Ltd., and Tsingshan Holding Group, ranked 44th, 249th, and 265th respectively in the Fortune Global 500.
Among the Chinese steel companies on the list, Baowu Steel Group and Hunan Iron & Steel Group are both important clients of PKU Pioneer. In 2022, we completed the construction of VPSA oxygen equipment for Hunan Iron & Steel Group with a total oxygen flow exceeding 100,000Nm³/h. In 2023, we built a VPSA-O2 plant (26,700Nm³/h, 90%) for Baowu Steel Group (Ma Steel). Both oxygen systems are used for oxygen enrichment in blast furnaces, providing a stable and economical oxygen supply to enhance the combustion, thus further contributing to cost reduction and efficiency improvement in the steel mills.
