On June 5, the annual World Environment Day, China Metallurgical News (CMN) released the "2022 Benchmark Green Enterprises in Iron and Steel Industrial Chain" list. As a representative of outstanding enterprises in the field of equipment technology, PKU Pioneer stood out with more than 50 enterprises and got selected.
In 2021, PKU Pioneer has implemented a total of 110 projects in construction, covering VPSA & PSA oxygen generation projects, PSA CO purification projects, PSA H2 production projects, flue gas desulfurization and denitrification projects, yellow phosphorus tail gas continuous purification & dephosphorization projects, and blast furnace gas (BFG) fine desulfurization projects. In recent years, PKU Pioneer's order volume has maintained high, and the project construction in 2021 also reached a historical peak. Good performance strongly led us to improve our management efficiency, optimize the production process and advance the project administration and construction quality, as a result, the brand awareness of PKU Pioneer has been demonstrated in a broader market scope in recent years, helping us to obtain more orders and forming a virtuous circle of sustainable development.
PKU Pioneer has been thoroughly implementing the long-term strategy for the development of the environmental protection field. Taking the efficient utilization of industrial exhaust gas as the entry point and the constantly improving gas purification technologies as the key weapon, PKU Pioneer has been creating value in the environmental protection area and fulfilling the corporate responsibility of building a green industry.
According to CMN, over the years, especially since the 13th Five-Year Plan, China's iron & steel industry has made great efforts and placed hefty investments to continue to persist in green development, and remarkable results have been achieved. Up to now, 26 iron and steel manufacturers have completed the ultra-low emission transformation of all processes, and 19 have achieved partial transformation while the number will continue to grow. In the meantime, enterprises in industries related to the iron and steel industrial chain tried new solutions and developed new technologies, making their overall images changed dramatically, which is inextricably linked to the concerted promotion and joint efforts of the whole iron & steel industrial chain. It can be said that iron & steel industry and the industrial chain support and influence each other. In the context of carbon peak and carbon neutrality objectives, it is of great significance to further enhance the iron & steel industrial chain, build a solid iron & steel ecosystem and strengthen the green & low-carbon development of the industrial chain.
In the selection, after sections of solicitation, material collection, voting and expert scoring, a total of 53 outstanding enterprises were listed, including 36 in the field of equipment technology, 7 in engineering technology, 4 in raw fuel and auxiliary materials, and 6 in information and futures area.
