PKU Pioneer Participated in Drafting Group Standard for PSA Hydrogen Purification System

On December 8, 2022, the Standardization Committee of the China International Association for Promotion of Science and Technology (CIAPST) issued an announcement that the group standard for Technical Requirements for Hydrogen Purification System by Medium-Temperature Pressure Swing Adsorption Technology which was drafted with the participation of PKU Pioneer was officially released.

According to the announcement, the above group standard, drafted by Tsinghua University, PKU Pioneer, Beijing Jia'an Hydrogen Source Technology Co., Ltd. (Jia’an Hydrogen Source) and other units, has completed the standard formulation process including establishment, drafting, opinion solicitation, review, modification, inspection, approval and documentation based on the requirements of CIAPST.  Approved by the Standardization Committee of CIAPST, Technical Requirements for Hydrogen Purification System by Medium-Temperature Pressure Swing Adsorption Technology (T/CI 140-2022) is authorized to be officially released and announced to come into force from December 8, 2022.

Since July 2021, the CIAPST Standardization Committee, together with Tsinghua University and other units carried out pre-study and preparatory work on the content of the standard. And at the end of November 2021, after the standard was approved on the National Group Standard Information Platform of the National Standardization Administration of the P.R.C., a drafting group was immediately organized by Tsinghua University, PKU Pioneer, Jia’an Hydrogen Source and other units. After holding multiple meetings on the drafting program, in mid-January 2022, they solicited opinions from the whole society on the National Group Standard Information Platform.

On October 15, 2022, the relevant units held a standard review meeting where Zhang Yongsheng, the deputy secretary-general, introduced the background, significance, and relevant information of the standard. After listening to the technical content and drafting process report, the review committee carefully checked the standard review materials and related documents, affirmed the preparation work done by the preparatory team and the necessity of formulating norms, and put forward invaluable comments and suggestions on the content during the oral defense and discussions. At last, the expert group unanimously agreed that the formulation of Technical Requirements for Hydrogen Purification System by Medium-Temperature Pressure Swing Adsorption Technology had met the relevant requirements. It's agreed to be promoted after the working group makes modifications and improvements according to the comments.
